Eight seed Swiatek took the first set 6-0 in 25 minutes, and raced into a lead in the second set as well. Her dominant performance places her seventh on the list of fastest victories in a women’s singles final at Wimbledon.

The record for the shortest Wimbledon women’s singles final is held by Suzanne Lenglen, who defeated Molla Mallory in 23 minutes in 1922. The shortest final in the Open Era is Billie Jean King against Evonne Goolagong in 1975, in 38 minutes.
