Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou refuses to hold stars to account after defeat

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou refused to hold his players to account after the Lilywhites suffered their 17th Premier League defeat of the season at the hands of Wolves. Spurs were second best throughout the encounter at Molineux as the home side won the clash 4-2.

After being asked by BBC Sport whether he would be holding players accountable, the Australian snapped: “No mate, mistakes are part of football. I’m not going to be holding anyone to account, the only one who gets held to account is me.

“Like I said, it’s just one of those things in football, we got punished for our errors today and it made the game really difficult for us.”
