Cabinet approves eight National High-Speed Road Corridor projects at Rs 50,655 crore

The cabinet on Friday approved eight National High-Speed Road Corridor projects of length 936 km at a total cost of Rs. 50,655 Crore to improve logistics efficiency, reduce congestion and enhance connectivity across the country. The projects will generate 4.42 crore man days of direct and indirect employment.

The projects include eight lane elevated Nashik Phata-Khed Corridor near Pune to eliminate the existing logistic difficulties.

Six-lane Agra-Gwalior National High-Speed Corridor that will reduce the travel time between Agra and Gwalior by 50 per cent.

Six lane Tharad-Deesa-Mehsana-Ahmedabad National High Speed Corridor that will give port connection and make logistics easier. S
