Indeed, if you want to take advantage of the discount, simply click the CD Keys link below.

While the Standard Edition costs £69.99, you can purchase a £70 PlayStation Store card for just £62.99.

After purchasing a top-up card from CD Keys, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.

Once you’ve added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up the £69.99 Standard Edition of the game, having only actually spent £62.99.

There’s also an £89.99 Deluxe Edition, which contains a number of in-game bonuses.

This includes the Blood Dragon Armour cosmetic, as well as six Weapon Cosmetics For Rook, one Warrior Armour Set For Rook, one Mage Armour Set For Rook and one Rogue Armour Set For Rook.

That’s on top of seven Weapons and seven Armour Sets for your companion characters.

If you do pre-order the game, then you can pre-load Dragon Age: The Veilguard ahead of launch, but only on PS5 and Xbox. PC users will be able to download the game from 4pm GMT on October 31.

The BioWare role-playing game takes place in the world of Thedas, which is described as a “vibrant land of rugged wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities”.

Your mission is to prevent the ancient gods from destroying the world, although that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Like all BioWare games, you’ll meet new companions along the way, build relationships and complete side quests.

BioWare explains more: “Thedas needs someone they can count on. Rise as Rook, Dragon Age’s newest hero. Be who you want to be and play how you want to play as you fight to stop the gods from blighting the world.

“But you can’t do this alone – the odds are stacked against you. Lead a team of seven companions, each with their own rich story to discover and shape, and together you will become The Veilguard.”

Perhaps surprisingly given BioWare’s recent track record, but the early reviews have been very good for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

The game currently has a score of 84% on Metacritic based on more than 50 reviews.

Critics have praised the setting, characters and storyline, comparing it favourably to past BioWare greats like Mass Effect.
