EA Sports has revealed the top 26 Premier League players for its upcoming annual football release.
EA FC 26 launches for consoles and PC on September 26. Owners of the Ultimate Edition will be able to play the game seven days early on September 19.
In the run up to launch, EA Sports is gradually revealing the top rated players in the game, including the Premier League.
Unsurprisingly, Liverpool and Manchester City dominate the list, especially the top ten. As you can see from the list further down the page, things aren’t quite so rosy for Arsenal and Chelsea.
Fresh off the back of winning the Golden Boot and helping Liverpool win the Premier League, Mohamed Salah is the highest-rated player in the PL – and the game overall – with a rating of 91.
Four of Salah’s teammates also make the top-ten, including Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
Manchester City have three players in the top-ten, beginning with Rodri in second place with a rating of 90, as well as Haaland in fourth and Gianluigi Donnarumma at five.
Arsenal only have two players in the top ten, with Gabriel and Bukayo Saka coming in at nine and ten, respectively. On the plus side, a further five Arsenal players are included in the top 26, for a grand total of seven players.
Club World Cup champions Chelsea don’t have any players in the top ten and only two players in the entire list, as Cole Palmer enters at 11, followed by Moisés Caicedo at 12.
Newcastle and Aston Villa are the only clubs outside of the aforementioned teams to have players in the top 26.
