Elden Ring Nightreign beta test times, dates and how to get access

If you’re excited about Elden Ring Nightreign as I am, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the first pre-release Network Test is about to take place on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The Elden Ring Nightreign beta has a February 14 release date, and will run until the early hours of February 17.

Unfortunately, however, the Network Test will take place in various 3-hour blocks, so you won’t be able to play continuously.

For UK players, the first Elden Ring Nightreign network test takes place from 11am GMT until 2pm GMT on February 14.

A second session takes place from 3am UK time until 6am on February 15, followed by a further session from 7pm GMT until 10pm GMT that same day.

Fans can continue playing between 11am GMT and 2pm GMT on February 16, before the network test comes to an end with a session from 3am GMT until 6am GMT on the morning of February 17.

For European and US timings, check out the Elden Ring Nightreign social media post below.

Access to the Network Test is limited to fans who signed up via open registrations earlier this year.

If you requested access to the Network Test, then it’s worth checking your emails (including spam folder) to see if you were accepted.

It’s also worth noting that while the game is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, the beta will only take place on Xbox Series X and PS5. Fans will also be hoping for a Switch 2 port, especially with the new Nintendo console launching around the same time as Nightreign.

As part of the Network Test, players will be able to select from four different character classes, including the all-round Wylder, the defensive Guardian, the magical user Recluse, and the speedy Duchess.

You enter an expedition at level 1, and have a limited amount of time to level up, find new weapons, and other rewards.

The Nightreign beta kicks off just hours after FromSoftware announced the release date and opened pre-orders for the upcoming Elden Ring spinoff.

The developer confirmed that Elden Ring Nightreign will have a May 30 release date. Available for £34.99, the game is available to pre-order now.

A £47.99 Deluxe Edition is also available, complete with bonuses like a digital artbook and soundtrack. According to FromSoftware, Deluxe Edition users will also gain access to “additional DLC”.
