God of War PS2 and Legacy of Kain tipped for PS Plus Premium in November

PlayStation Plus subscribers are just a couple of days away from finding out which games will be joining the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers in November.

The next batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be unveiled at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of November 13. Subscribers will be able to download and play the titles on the morning of November 19.

While the Extra line-up consists of various PS4 and PS5 games, the Premium list contains a variety of retro games and PSVR 2 releases.

And based on a previous Sony announcement and a recent leak, it looks like we may already have a pretty good idea about what to expect.

During a recent State of Play event, Sony confirmed that Dino Crisis and PSOne classic Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain would be joining PlayStation Plus Premium in the coming months.

With Dino Crisis making its PS Plus Premium debut in October, all signs point towards Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain coming to the service on November 19.

Daily Express will update this article with the official line-up when it’s announced on the afternoon of November 13.

In addition to Legacy of Kain, subscribers believe at least one classic God of War game is also bound for PS Plus Premium in November.

This is based on the recent discovery of PS2-era God of War artwork in the PS Plus Premium library back in October. It’s worth pointing out that similar artwork was discovered for Dino Crisis before the game joined PS Plus Premium earlier on October 15.

Needless to say, this has led to speculation that the old-school God of War games will join PlayStation Plus Premium in November.

The most likely candidates are God of War and God of War 2, which were released on the PS2 back in 2005 and 2007, respectively.

PSP fans will also be hoping for the release of portable God of War games Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.

The addition of the artwork pretty much guarantees the games will join the service at some point, it’s just not clear when. A November 2024 release seems the most likely, but there’s a chance Sony may hold back until the anniversary in 2025.

If you do have a PS Plus Premium subscription and want to enjoy some classic God of War, then you can play God of War 3 Remastered as part of your membership plan.
