Andrea Bocelli is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his career this year with BST Hyde Park in London on Friday.
The Italian maestro will then perform three concerts at the Teatro Del Silenzio in Tuscany with some huge stars from Sir Brian May and Ed Sheeran to Russell Crowe and Shania Twain.
And now the singer has announced that Hollywood star Johnny Depp will perform alongside him as a special guest too.
Bocelli praised the Pirates of the Caribbean actor in a new announcement post on social media.
Bocelli said: “A disarmingly charming actor who has brought countless iconic characters to life on the big screen, this eclectic artist’s musical talents are equally intense: a bona fide rockstar loved and applauded everywhere.
“I fondly recall playing and singing with Johnny Depp when he visited my home in Tuscany. We’re happy to announce that this unexpected pairing will perform once more – and this time in public, as his fans will be thrilled to hear. We want to thank Johnny for accepting our invitation: it will be a joy to welcome him to the Teatro del Silenzio stage”.
Andrea Bocelli’s 30th anniversary concert takes places in Tuscany on July 15, 17 and 19 and tickets can be booked here.
