New action thriller, Fight or Flight, starring Josh Hartnett has scored a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. The flick, which is directed by James Madigan, follows the story of mercenary Lucas Reyes, tasked to find a mysterious asset on board a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco.
Josh, best known for his breakthrough role in the 1990s blockbuster Pearl Harbour, is fresh from his recent film Trap, which M. Night Shyamalan directed. His new film, Fight or Flight, was released on Sky Cinema in February and recently hit cinemas in the USA in March, and already it’s garnered rave reviews online from critics.
It currently has a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with viewers commending Josh’s performance. One Google reviewer wrote: “Wow what to say about fight or flight? Well for starters it’s absolutely bonkers! The action certainly never lets up a la crank. Unfortunately Josh hartnett is no Jason Statham but does a adequate job as the rogue FBI agent sent on one last job to redeem himself from the worldiness. Katie sackhoff play’s his straight laced permanently scowling boss… But it’s all in good fun and played out purely tongue in cheek! Leave your brain at the door, Go and enjoy!”
Another person wrote: “A complete Entertaining Movie to be watched by keeping our brains at home…Josh is cool as always… Adrenaline Rush throughout the movie with Funny Characters.” Someone else penned: “Hands Down Completely Awesome.”
According to the official plot synopsis, “Exiled American agent Lucas Reyes (Josh Hartnett) is given one last chance to redeem himself—the assignment is to track down and identify a mysterious, international high-value asset known only as The Ghost on a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco. Complicating matters, the plane is filled with assassins from around the world who are assigned to kill them both. The pair must work together in a fight for their lives. At 37,000 feet, the stakes have never been higher.”
Josh shot to fame in the 1990s in major blockbusters before taking a break from the limelight and opting for smaller projects. He also prioritised a quieter life in London with his wife and kids.
While he has been relatively private with social media appearances, he recently unexpectedly returned to the limelight to promote Fight or Flight.
