A war film which might over 60 years old it has stood the test of time to become one of the best. With an impressive 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, this film can’t be missed. The film follows the story of British officer T.E. Lawrence’s mission to aid the Arab tribes in their revolt against the Ottoman Empire during the First World War.
Lawrence becomes a flamboyant, messianic figure in the cause of Arab unity but his psychological instability threatens to undermine his achievements.
Lawrence of Arabia was originally released in 1962, directed by David Lean. Today, you can watch the film on Apple TV and film-lovers are still enjoying the hit even in 2025.

It also says that the film features a star-studded cast, with some of the best performances of its era.
Movie Web adds: “Peter O’Toole’s sensitive portrayal of Lawrence is wonderful, and garnered him a win for best actor from the British Academy, plus nominations for both the Golden Globes and the Oscars.”
