Oasis fans bewildered as hotel prices soar for UK tour dates

Hotel prices have skyrocketed following the announcement of Oasis’s long-awaited reunion tour, with fans rushing to book rooms and driving up costs.

The iconic band revealed this morning (August 27) that they will be returning to the stage after a 15-year break, causing a frenzy among supporters keen to catch them live.

Liam and Noel Gallagher have confirmed performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin next year, putting an end to years of rumours about their potential comeback.

The news has led to a surge in hotel rates around the gig venues as establishments capitalise on the expected surge of concert-goers. The longer fans delay their bookings, the steeper the price they may face.

With the Oasis reunion set to attract both domestic and international audiences, the pressure on accommodation is intense, leading to exorbitant pricing.

Liam, following the announcement that left fans around the globe in jubilation, took to Twitter on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, to share a poignant message.

Accompanying a recent photoshoot of the brothers, he wrote: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Earlier, Liam had expressed his excitement about the tour on social media, saying, “This is it, this is happening” in response to a post about the upcoming events.

Tickets are set to go on sale this coming Saturday, August 31, 2024, with performances scheduled to delight fans in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin throughout July and August 2025.
