Sony is about to officially announce the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for the month of June. Premium and Extra subscribers will be treated to around a dozen new PS5 and PS4 games, from the latest triple-A titles, to classic PSOne and PS2 releases. Subscribers were also given access to additional games as part of Sony’s recent Days of Play event, including multiple PSVR 2 titles such as Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Walkabout Mini Golf and Synth Riders. With the Days of Play event coming to an end, normal service is expected to resume, which means Sony will unveil this month’s PS Plus Premium and PlayStation Plus Extra games at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of June 12. The games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of June 18.
While nothing has been revealed so far, if previous months are anything to go by, there’s a good chance the games will leak ahead of schedule.
Needless to say, Daily Express will update this article with any leaks, information and official announcements, so check back at 4.30pm BST UK time on June 12 for the latest info.
In the meantime, PlayStation Plus subscribers have been attempting to predict the line-up ahead of schedule.
In the regular monthly thread over on Reddit, members have picked out games like Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil Village and Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
As a high-profile first-party game, it certainly feels like Gran Turismo 7 could make an appearance as part of this month’s PS Plus Extra line-up.
The Sony racing game launched over two years ago and is playable on PSVR 2, so the timing definitely feels right.
Resident Evil Village is another game that’s playable on PSVR 2, and has been around for a long time without ever appearing on PS Plus Extra.
Then there’s Star Wars Jedi Survivor, which is a high-profile blockbuster that would serve as the perfect headliner for the June PS Plus Extra line-up.
Other games with lots of predictions include Lords of the Fallen, which makes sense given its recent release on Xbox Game Pass.
That’s on top of Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, FF16 and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion.
A ton of LEGO games make it on the list, as well as High On Life, Atomic Heart, Hades, Viewfinder, and Hades.
Hades has been on the predictions list ever since the release of the sequel in early access.
One game we do know will make an appearance is Anno 1800. The city-building strategy game was actually announced for PS Plus Extra earlier this year.
