The annual wrestling release shines the spotlight on The Bloodline faction. It includes iconic matches and moments from the group previously led by Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
New features include the addition of Bloodline Rules and Underground matches, as well as chain wrestling, barricade diving and more.
That’s on top of dozens of current main roster and NXT wrestlers, as well as legends such as Bret Hart, Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage.
Tactical role-playing game Persona 5 Tactica also joins the PS Plus Extra line-up, alongside Green Hell, Fate/Samurai Remnant and The Invincible.
That’s on top of a couple of retro-style survival horror games, including Crow Country and Conscript.
Unfortunately, however, only one game is coming to PS Plus Premium, as Legacy of Kain: Defiance joins the service.
“Continue Kain and Raziel’s epic conflict in this faithful emulation of the classic PS2 action-adventure title, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, playable on PS4 and PS5 for the first time,” reads the official description.
“Take control of two powerful and highly evolved vampires: Kain, Emperor of Nosgoth and near-demigod, and Raziel, a wraithlike angel of death.
“Each equipped with their own legendary sword, Kain & Raziel must battle through a world poisoned by conflict and intrigue as they attempt to unravel their destinies and defeat the dark forces that seek to condemn their world to eternal damnation.”
Needless to say, it’s not all good news, because multiple games will also be leaving the service on September 16.
Indeed, consider this your last chance to play the likes of Road 96, Pistol Whip and F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch.
EA Sports UFC 5 is arguably the highest-profile game leaving PS Plus Extra in September, alongside charming adventure game The Plucky Squire.
Finally, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir and Dragon’s Crown Pro will also be removed from PS Plus Extra on September 16.
