PS Plus June 2025 PS4 and PS5 games – EA FC 25, NBA 2K25 lead predictions

The next wave of PS Plus Essentials are about to be revealed by Sony. The June 2025 PlayStation Plus games will be unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of May 28. The PS4 and PS5 games will be available to download and install from June 3.

In the lead up to the PS Plus reveal and without any leaks to go by, fans have been attempting to predict the line-up before the Sony announcement.

Unsurprisingly given the time of year, sports games are top of the predictions list for June, specifically EA Sports FC 25 and NBA 2K25.

With the recent PS Plus Extra line-up dubbed embarrassing by some fans, Sony definitely needs a strong month for new releases.

Indeed, in the monthly predictions thread on Reddit, more than 20 people believe NBA 2K25 will join the PS Plus Essentials line-up, while 19 people think EA Sports FC 25 will come to PlayStation Plus.

With the Premier League season coming to an end this weekend, plus the NBA Playoffs entering the final stages, adding the aforementioned games would give these titles a boost before the inevitable sequels make their debuts later this year.

Another game with more than 20 picks in the predictions thread is Atomic Heart, which has become a regular fixture on the PS Plus predictions thread since leaving Xbox Game Pass.

The game takes place in a utopian world where humans and robots live together. Needless to say, things start to go wrong and you’re tasked with putting things right.

“The unstoppable course of technology along with secret experiments have brought rise to mutant creatures, terrifying machines and superpowered robots – all suddenly rebelling against their creators. Only you can stop them and find out what lies behind the idealised world.”

Other games with plenty of picks include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Pacific Drive and Lies of P.

Lies of P seems to be picking up steam thanks to the imminent launch of the game’s Overture DLC. Giving the game away would boost player numbers and potentially help the studio sell more DLC.

There are also picks for Rise of the Ronin, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Lords of the Fallen, Resident Evil Village, Kingdom Hearts, The Crew: Motorfest, Terminator Resistance, Nier Automata, Gollum, a Call of Duty game and Persona 3 Reloaded.

Some hopeful fans are even picking games like Stellar Blade, Astro Bot and new release The Precinct. F1 2024 also gets a pick, although this seems unlikely given the sequel launches this month.

One interesting pick is for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, which makes sense given the next DLC launches soon.
