Silent Hill f global release times, launch date and how to save money on PS5

Following last year’s release of the Silent Hill 2 remake, Konami is back with a brand new game in the series, this time set in 1960s Japan.

Titled Silent Hill f, the survival horror sequel has a September 25 release date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store.

Konami has also shared global release times for each platform, and it’s good news for console owners.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Silent Hill f will be available from midnight BST UK time on September 25. It’s midnight local time in Europe and parts of the US.

PC fans face a slightly longer wait, because the game will launch on Steam and Epic Games Store at 5am BST UK time on September 25.

The full list of Silent Hill f global release times can be seen in the image below.

To ensure you can start playing without delay, pre-order customers can pre-load the game on all platforms ahead of launch.

Alternatively, fans can pick up the slightly more expensive Deluxe Edition, which contains early access to the game, meaning you can play now.

PS5 users, meanwhile, can save money on the new game by purchasing PlayStation Store Credit on Loaded (previously CD Keys).

At the time of writing, the UK retailer is selling £70 of PlayStation Store Credit for just £63.99.

After purchasing a top-up card from Loaded, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.

Once you’ve added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up the £69.99 Standard Edition having only spent £63.99.

Silent Hill f features the same psychological horror as the classic games in the series, albeit in a new setting.

“In 1960s Japan, Shimizu Hinako’s secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, transforming her home into a haunting nightmare,” reads the official description.

“As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive.”

The game has been well received by critics, earning an impressive 86% score on Metacritic.
