The best value gaming headset is about to get even better

One of the best value gaming headsets has just been given a stylish new makeover, as RIG announces the limited-edition 600 PRO HS Acid Camo headphones.

Launching in November, the 600 PRO headphones feature a stylish new design, but at an affordable price point of less than £100.

Even better is the partnership with Wicked Cushion, which ensures users get the most comfortable experience possible.

The dense memory foam earpads are lined with a custom sports fabric and cushioned headband. That’s on top of snap-to-fit earcups with small, medium and large settings.

The 600 PRO HS Acid Camo headset is compatible with PlayStation, PC and Nintendo Switch, while the similar PRO HX headphones work with Xbox.

In terms of sound, the PRO 600 HS features bass-boosted high-sensitivity drivers that are said to provide more volume with less distortion.

The premium noise-isolating earpads are also designed to eliminate distractions while you play.

Elsewhere, the 600 PRO HS features an omni-directional microphone with noise rejection technology. That’s in addition to a handy flip-to-hide boom, which automatically mutes your voice when closed.

The thing that arguably seals the deal is the fact that the 600 PRO HS is a wireless headset with multiple ways to connect.

You have low-latency wireless available with the 2.4GHz USB-C dongle, as well as regular Bluetooth connectivity for mobile gaming.

RIG explains more: “Choose between Game, Bluetooth or Dual mode, which keeps you connected to your game audio via the  dongle and lets you switch seamlessly to answer phone calls and receive notifications.”

Further customisation comes with the use of a companion app, which can be accessed via Bluetooth.

“Bluetooth connectivity unlocks access to the 600 PRO Navigator app on iOS and Android devices.

“Pair the RIG 600 PRO HS with a mobile device for advanced customisation. Select equaliser presets or customise your sound, adjust mic sensitivity and monitoring levels, and test headset functionality.”

Finally, the RIG 600 PRO HS features an 18-hour battery when paired with the dongle, or upwards of 24-hours via regular Bluetooth.

Daily Express will update this article with pre-order information in the coming weeks.
