Pakistan have rested skipper and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan as they try to avoid a Twenty20 series whitewash against Australia.
The tourists won the toss and elected to bat first in Hobart on Monday night at the recently renamed Ninja Stadium, the old Bellerive Oval.
Salman Agha will captain Pakistan in Rizwan’s absence, while Haseebullah Khan will take over behind the stumps after being left out of the last game.
Left-arm quick Jahandad Khan will make his international debut at the expense of fellow paceman Naseem Shah.
Australia are unchanged after wrapping up the three-game series with a 13-run win in game two in Sydney on Saturday night.
Left-arm quick Spencer Johnson claimed the best-ever figures by an Australian quick in T20 internationals, taking 5-26.
