Carlos Cuesta made history when he was appointed the manager of Serie A side Parma on Thursday. The 29-year-old became the youngest manager in Serie Italian top flight in nearly a century and the second-youngest overall.
Originally hailing from Spain, Cuesta started his coaching career with the academy sides of Atletico Madrid. He joined Arsenal in 2020, working as an assistant coach under manager Mikel Arteta for five years.
Parma announced that Cuesta signed a two-year contract with the option of a third year.
