David Beckham showed true colours to Brooklyn after huge decision – ‘I was sad’

Speaking to Variety in 2022, Brooklyn admitted he was “sad” to give up football, but insisted his dad, while disappointed, just wanted his son to be happy and fully supported his decision to quit. “My dad wasn’t sad, because he was like, ‘I just want you to be happy,'” he explained.” But of course, I was sad. It was my whole life since I was literally two.”

The youngster’s decision to switch careers wasn’t taken lightly.
