Brazilian forward Antony has completed a permanent transfer from Manchester United to Real Betis, the Premier League side announced on Monday.
Antony returns to the Spanish side after reinventing his form, scoring nine goals in 26 games and becoming a fan-favourite at the club.
He helped the Seville-based outfit reach the UEFA Conference League final, with four goals and three assists.
Antony had signed for United from Ajax in the summer of 2022 and made 96 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals. Under manager Erik ten Hag, he won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
“Everybody at the club would like to wish Antony the very best of luck for the future,” United said in a statement.
The Brazilian becomes the latest player to leave the club after falling out of favour at United, following Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof. Hojlund and Rashford were loaned to Napoli and Barcelona, respectively, while Lindelof joined Aston Villa after leaving United for free.
