FA Cup fifth round draw LIVE as Man Utd, Man City and Newcastle discover ties

Teams dreaming of FA Cup glory following the exits of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will learn their fifth-round opponents tonight. The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle will hope to capitalise on two big-hitters being dumped out of the competition in the early rounds.

Liverpool were surprisingly beaten by Championship basement side Plymouth on Sunday, while Chelsea were defeated by Brighton the day before. Arsenal, meanwhile, were knocked out by Man Utd in the third round.

United and City have underperformed this season and may see the FA Cup as their only chance of silverware. Bournemouth, Brighton and Aston Villa will also believe they have a chance. A place in the quarter-final awaits teams who win in the fifth round.

Tonight’s draw is due to take place at around 7:10pm. Former Arsenal stars Alex Scott and Theo Walcott will draw the balls.

Be sure to stay with Express Sport as we bring you every tie as the draw takes place.
