Manchester City completed a comeback win over Bournemouth while Marcus Rashford powered Aston Villa to a comfortable 3=- victory against Preston to complete the semifinal line-up of FA Cup, on Sunday.
City, out of the UEFA Champions League and League Cup, hardly has a chance to defend the Premier League title. It is thus looking to end the season with the FA Cup in its cabinet.
“The season has been poor, it’s not going to change for the fact of winning one title. But of course, we want to do it,” City’s manager Pep Guardiola said about the season.
“Qualify for the UCL it’s a big success, as I said. winning the FA Cup is also a huge success, but the season has not been good”

- April 26: Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa — Wembley Stadium
Nottingham Forrest, which was promoted back to the Premier League in 2022, has turned heads with an overwhelming performance this season, and remains on the cusp of securing Champions League football.

Crystal Palace, the fourth and final side in the semifinals, brushed aside Fulham with a 3-0 win, with Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Edward Nketiah finding the net for the London-based club.
