The Indian senior women’s team will begin its AFC Asian Cup 2026 Qualification campaign on Monday, June 23, in Thailand.
India will face Mongolia, Timor Leste, Iraq and host Thailand. Only the group winner will qualify for the final tournament in Australia set to be held in March 2026.
The AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 will also serve as a qualifier for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027.

India has qualified for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup eight times. In 2022, it qualified by virtue of being the host. The last time the Blue Tigresses had qualified for the continental event was back in 2003.
