India will open its maiden CAFA Nations Cup 2025 campaign against host Tajikistan on Friday, under new coach Khalid Jamil.
The Blue Tigers have been drawn in Group B, where they will face the host first before playing IR Iran on September 1 and Afghanistan on September 4. Group A, meanwhile, consists of host Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, and Oman.
The group winners will meet in the final, while the runners-up will contest the third-place playoff on September 8.
