The Indian Under-20 women’s team recorded a commanding 4-1 victory over Uzbekistan in their international friendly match at the Do’stlik Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Wednesday.
This was the second of two friendlies against Uzbekistan after the first match on Monday ended in a 1-1 draw.
India took the lead two minutes before half-time after Sibani Devi Nongmeikapam found the back of the net. However, the lead lasted only nine minutes as Uzbekistan equalised through Shakhnoza Dekanbaeva.
