Bengaluru FC defender Aleks Jovanovic has announced that he will retire from professional football at the end of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season.
The Australian joined the club in 2022 and has won the Durand Cup, while also finishing as runner-up in the ISL play-offs in 2022-23 and the Super Cup in 2023.
The 35-year-old centre-back will be hoping to add more silverware as Bengaluru take on Mumbai City FC in the ISL play-off knockouts on Saturday.
