Kobbie Mainoo approach made as Man Utd chiefs approve double exit

Tottenham have asked about what it would take to sign Kobbie Mainoo this summer, according to TBR Football.

Mainoo’s contract runs until 2027 and includes the option of an extra year, but there has been little progress around a long-awaited extension.

The 20-year-old wants to stay at Old Trafford but the longer the saga drags on, the higher the chances of Spurs pulling off a major swoop.

If they get wind that Mainoo could be attainable in the current window, Tottenham would be expected to throw their hat in the ring along with fellow admirers Chelsea.
