Luke Shaw is reportedly ‘fuming’ with Ruben Amorim after being excluded from a six-man leadership group.
Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Noussair Mazraoui, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot and third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton have been picked to form the group.
However, The Sun reports that Shaw believes he should have been part of the leadership structure.
The 30-year-old has spent 11 years at Old Trafford and is the club’s longest-serving player.
He is said to be ‘fuming’ with Amorim over the decision.
The United boss reportedly hopes that the defender’s feelings will wear off ahead of the new season.
