Manchester United suffered a 0-1 loss against an ASEAN All-Stars team in a post-season friendly match on Wednesday at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur.
Maung Maung Lwin, the captain of the Myanmar men’s national football team, scored the only goal in the match in the 71st minute.

The English Premier League side is also set to play another Hybrid friendly match when it faces the Hong Kong, China national team on May 30.
United is coming on the back of a disastrous trophyless season which saw the side finish a lowly 15th on the league table with 42 points from 38 matches. It finished the EPL season with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa at home.
The Ruben Amorim-coached team also missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification for next season after it lost the UEFA Europa League final to fellow EPL side Tottenham Hotspur.
“Now after this disastrous season, I want to say that good days are coming. If there is one club in the world that can prove that it can overcome any disaster in the world, it is Manchester United,” Amorim had said post the Villa win, addressing the fans about the season gone by.
