Real Madrid will look to get back to winning ways in the Spanish league as it hosts Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, on Sunday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side suffered a dent in its La Liga defence when it lost to 1-2 Real Betis, earlier this month. However, it beat Atletico Madrid in its next game, in the Champions League, and will look to ride on the same momentum against Vallecano.
Though Madrid has beaten Vallecano 14 times in the last 19 matches, the previous three clashes between the sides have ended in draws. In Vallecano’s home game this season, on December 15, 2024, Isi Palazón’s equaliser held the La Liga champion to a 3-3 draw.
