The SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship 2025 kicked off on Friday with the host nation, Bangladesh, taking on Sri Lanka at the Bashundhara Kings Arena stadium in Dhaka.
The four-team tournament (Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka) will conclude on July 21 with the final match to be played between defending champion Bangladesh and Nepal.
The competition will be played in a double round-robin league format, which will see all the teams playing each other twice. The side at the top of the standings at the end of the fixtures will be crowned champion.
