Chelsea will face tough competition on its return to the Champions League with Germany’s Bayern Munich and Spain’s Barcelona among its league stage opponents.
The FIFA Club World Cup winner will also take on Benfica (Portugal), Atalanta (Italy), Ajax (Netherlands), Napoli (Italy), Pafos (Cyprus) and Qarabag (Azerbaijan).
Chelsea has lifted the Champions League twice, with its last win coming four years ago, under current England manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea and Barcelona have met 14 times in the Champions League, with each side winning eight matches and the remaining six matches ending in a draw.
The Blues also have history with Bayern, when they defeated the Bundesliga giant in its own backyard in the 2012 final to win their maiden Champions League crown.
