Lionel Messi scored Inter Miami’s second goal in the 57th minute in its MLS clash against Philadelphia Union at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday (Sunday, according to IST).
Luis Suarez started a counter-attack for Miami and threaded a ball to Picault, who returned the favour. The Uruguayan saw Messi in support on the right and found him with a pass. Messi moved away from goal and shot across the face of the goal with his weaker right foot and the ball beat keeper Andre Blake and rattled the far corner of the net.
It was Messi’s second MLS goal of the season.
