East Bengal’s Calcutta Football League (CFL) Premier Division match against Behala SS Sporting, scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Indian Football Association (IFA) announced in an official release.
“Due to inclement weather conditions, the match scheduled to be held between East Bengal FC and Behala SS Sporting on 8th July at Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay Stadium, Barrackpore has been postponed until further notice. The revised schedule will be communicated shortly,” the release said.

East Bengal has played two matches in its current CFL campaign, thrashing Measurers Club 7-1 in its campaign opener. But it dropped points in its second match after drawing 1-1 against Suruchi Sangha.
With 39 titles, East Bengal has the highest number of wins in the league’s history.
