Australian tennis player Thomas Fancutt accepts ten-month doping suspension

Australian tennis player Thomas Fancutt has accepted a ten-month suspension for a doping violation by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).

The 30-year-old had entered a voluntary provisional suspension in March, and the time since then will be credited against his suspension.

Over the course of the investigation conducted by ITIA, Fancutt admitted to the breach, and the agency accepted his explanation that the breach was accidental.

Fancutt’s suspension will last until January 18, 2026. In that time, the Australian will not be able to play, coach, or attend in any event affiliated with ITIA.
