Top-ranked Jannik Sinner takes on third seed Carlos Alcaraz in a blockbuster Italian Open final in Rome on Sunday.

Another chapter of the exciting Alcaraz vs Sinner rivalry is set to take place as the two players lock horns for the first time in a Masters 1000 final. This is the last big event before Roland Garros where Alcaraz will be defending his title.
It is the 11th meeting between the two players and the first since last year’s China Open final in Beijing. Alcaraz has won the last three battles.
Sinner came into the Italian Open after a three-month doping ban. However, the 23-year-old Italian has shown why he is the best player in the world. The home favourite has dropped only one set on his way to the final.
Sinner, who is on a 26-match winning streak, aims to become the first Italian man to clinch the title since Adriano Panatta in 1976.
The 22-year-old Alcaraz entered the Italian Open after missing the Madrid Open due to injury. The Spaniard, like Sinner, has dropped only one set in five matches.
Alcaraz, who was the champion in Monte Carlo, is looking to become the first man since countryman Rafael Nadal in 2018 to win multiple clay ATP Masters 1000 titles in a season.
