Fierce row explodes on court as Sabalenka says rival ‘can lose control’

Taylor Townsend and Jelena Ostapenko broke into a fierce on-court row following their US Open clash.

Ostapenko was left furious when Townsend supposedly did not apologise after a net cord went in her favour before she went on to secure a 7-5 6-1 victory.

Following a tense handshake after play concluded, the duo erupted into a major row, with Ostapenko telling her American rival that she had ‘no class’ and ‘no education’.
