Bopanna-Shelton pair in quarterfinals of Bavarian International
Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Ben Shelton beat the fourth seeds Jamie Murray and Rajeev Ram 6-4, 6-3 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the €2,500,000 ATP tennis tournament in Munich, Germany.
The Indo-American pair will play Sander Gille and Jan Zielinski in the quarterfinals.

Kshitij Naveed Kaul takes sole second-round lead at Calance Open
Kshitij Naveed Kaul shot a course record 10-under 60 to take the lead after two rounds in the Calance Open gold at the Qutab Golf Club on Wednesday.

Kshitij Naveed Kaul shot a course record 10-under 60 to take the lead after two rounds in the Calance Open gold at the Qutab Golf Club on Wednesday.

Kshitij Naveed Kaul shot a 10-under 60, a course record, in the second round to take a one-shot lead with a total of 12-under 128, in the Rs.1 crore Calance Open at the Qutab Golf Course on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Kshitij, a winner of four titles, jumped 22 places to be in the lead, as he played a flawless round, sparkling with an eagle and eight birdies.
“I was feeling good about my game, and hit the spots that I wanted to,” said Kshitij, as he admitted that the enormity of his effort was perceived by him only on the last hole, as he was totally focused.
“The fact that I had played just one practice round at this course after it was relaid, makes my round stand out,” said Kshitij.
The earlier course record of 11-under 59 was set by Mukesh Kumar at the DDA Open in 2005. However, the course was releid and underwent changes in 2018, leading to a fresh record. Karandeep Kochhar shot 64, after his 65 in the first round, to be in the second position, one shot ahead of Yuvraj Sandhu.
The overnight leaders Tapendra Ghai and Pukhraj Gill shot identical 67 to be joint fourth, while the other leader, Honey Baisoya shot 68, to be joint sixth.
