USA’s Coco Gauff continued to hold the World No. 2 spot in the WTA rankings after she clinched the French Open 2025 title after beating Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

Sabalenka, on the other hand, remained World No. 1.

Meanwhile, France’s Lois Boisson jumped a whopping 296 places to reach a career-high 65 after a dream run at this year’s Roland Garros. She, a wildcard in the tournament, reached the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Gauff.
